Over the years I have made four trips to these countries in South America. At the time I was more interested in bakcpacking and mountain climbing than in photography, except for one trip to the Galapagos Islands where I was sponsored by Mountain Travel to photograph for their catalog. These image pre-date digital photography and lack some of the clarity and sharpness that we have become accustomed to seeing.
